Services offered
Psychotherapy in English
I offer psychotherapy in English for expats, international students, and foreign professionals living in Italy. This therapeutic process in English is designed for those who wish to explore anxiety, stress, relationships, and life transitions in their own language, within a warm and professional space.
Individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults
I offer individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, a process aimed at understanding and transforming emotional, relational, and personal difficulties. I work with a psychodynamic approach, providing a safe and confidential space to explore anxiety, stress, life transitions, identity, and relationships, fostering psychological growth and well-being.
Psychodiagnosis
I specialize in clinical psychodiagnostics and use projective and personality tests (Rorschach, TAT, standardized questionnaires) to gain an in-depth understanding of a person’s emotional and relational functioning.
These tools make it possible to identify strengths, areas of vulnerability, and the roots of one’s distress, providing an accurate and personalized evaluation.
Psychological assessment is useful for guiding a potential psychotherapy process and for gaining greater self-awareness.
Frequently asked questions
Psychodynamic psychotherapy is based on exploring the unconscious mental processes that influence thoughts, emotions and behavior. Through dialogue with the therapist, the person can better understand their inner dynamics, improve relationships and develop greater self-awareness.
The duration varies from person to person. It usually involves weekly meetings and can last from few months to several years, depending on the depth of work and shared therapeutic goals.
During the session, the patient is encouraged to speak freely about whatever they think or feel. The therapist listens, offers support, and helps to give meaning to the patient’s experiences, emotions, and behaviors. This process fosters a deeper understanding of how past experiences are connected to present difficulties.
Unlike more symptom- or behavior-focused approaches, psychodynamic therapy aims to understand the root causes of distress. The goal is not only to alleviate symptoms, but to promote lasting change through increased self-knowledge.
